On Murassa Helmet; It is decorated with 163 Red or Green agate stones of various sizes, sizes and geometries. Work; It is presented in a special wooden box with its serial numbered certificate.
Murassa, literally, is the art of decorating with precious stones. Murassa; It is also related to the art of jewellery, especially the art of binding. Ivory carved, gold plated, mosaic, jade relief, ruby, emerald, pearl, and diamond are other used in this art. are precious stones. Murassa, which reached its peak during the reign of Fatih; It has become a branch of art that creates added value by using it in weapons such as belts, mirrors, tankards, bindings of the Quran, various accessories and helmets. It is possible to see most of the rare works that have survived to the present day, especially in the Topkapı Palace, the Harbiye Military Museum and the Museum of Islamic Art.
