Fatima Ana's Hand

What is the meaning of Fatma's hand?

Although it is known as the Hand of Fatima, it is called the "Hamsa Hand" in Arabic. Hamsa means five and indicates the number of fingers on a hand. Hindus call it the "Humsa Hand", while Jews call it the "Hameş Hand" or "Miryam Hand". It is especially valuable in North Africa. There is a story of jealousy behind the discovery of this symbol, which embraces the most spiritual needs of humanity such as strength, abundance and endurance.
